n317707_32010491_21572I am a professor in linguistics at İstanbul Bilgi University, Department of English Language and Literature.

I study child language acquisition, in particular Turkish, with a focus on children’s morpho-syntactic development along with other topics in psycholinguistics.  I am one of the participants of Crosslinguistic Project on the Pre- and Protomorphology in Language Acquisition led by Prof. W.U. Dressler of the University of Vienna and Austrian Academy of Sciences. I am also one of the local collaborators of the Leibniz Dream project.
